Here is your answers.. 1. To recognize real inbound link, you should have your site registered with google webmasters tools. 2. There is some confusion regarding no-follow link, some says it's not considered as backlinks, while google webmasters and other seo tools counts it as backlinks, SO personaly speaking, it's also being counted, just jot followed by google bot or not given importance on anchor text keyword.
1. Check your back link = link:http://www.abc.com AND Want full info about real back links than you should register in all search engines. 2. No Follow attribute means your website can't get benefits of those back links.....
Hi Rituja ! I have doubt with your answers, 1. many times i found a huge diffence in results when doing "link:www.abc.com" and finding number of backlinks in google webmasters tools for "www.abc.com", results differs a lot for quite a long time... 2. No follow links are also being counted as backlinks in google webmaster tools and many of other seo tools. and in my case, it's also giving me benefits.
No follow link = a link with the rel = "nofollow" tag within it... i.e. <a href="http://www.yoursite.com" rel="nofollow">anchor text</a> Real inbound link on your blog...just set up Google webmaster tools or grab yoasts plugin and just use site explorer
I use backlinkwatch for this purpose. It would find out if a backlink is dofollow or not for you. Even better, you would pick up the anchor text and other useful information for you, too. It would be helpful in finding quality backlinking sources. Have a nice day,
To recognize a real inbound link you must sign up for Google Webmasters Tool. <a href="http://www.google.com/">Google</a> <a href="http://www.google.com/" rel="nofollow">Google</a> A nofollow link is a link that is included on a webpage using standard html markup but includes an attribute to prevent passing link juice or reputation to the destination page.
