Can you advise me on this placement

Hi all, I have in my site, adsense placed, and it is not earning too much for the sake of my bank employees. I have a writing blog, and here it is, please give me your views on it.

I am surprised how you are not earning......do you have a low traffic? You have ads all over the place.

 

Try to make the blocks with ads smaller and to move the block at the top somewhere in the content.

 

Your placement is fairly good. Try to change the colors and test for a few days.
What's your traffic like? By the way I don't like the green background. My eyes hurt now

 

when you say not earning too much do you mean it's not earning too much per click, or do you mean the ad isn't getting clicks?

Anyway, the link color; Consider changing it.

 

The search box is not good, youy can delete it.
you can put a links box under "Contributors" tab, with natching colours, of course.

 

IMO, the placement is ok but the size definitely is a little big. have you tried adjusting it from every week to see your progress. I usually do these to test the waters too. I manged to get more by adjusting the position on the middle of the screen and a little smaller ads than yours.
