    I wouldn't have thought so - I don't think HTML/Javascript is enabled. I'm sure Google have considered this.

    no u can't do it coz its against the adsense tos . don't put ur code in any e-mail msg , group etc

    You can't especially for private groups.. because the TOS clearly states that your ad has to be visible for the whole public to see.. so this means membership access in parts of sites as well, not only groups.
