can wordpress get good ranking?

    I want to know if I build a small site using wordpress will get good ranking in goolge search engine better than just doing in HTML.

    I am new to wordpress and I find difficulty in editing meta tags in all pages.

    Are you savvy wordpress user, please help.

    wordpress is user friendly and it is very easy o use and u can get good ranking in major search engines because wordpress provides many plugin that optimize your blog automatically.

    i tell u that my many friends are using wordpress and they earn $8,000 per month. visit this blog "http://www.newsearth.eu" and i hope u will say that "Is it wordpress blog or HTML site?"

    And Don't worry about meta tags. when u create a new post, u may add meta tags there.

    html is the king. if you have a small site and will not update it frequently, create it with html. if you would add at least 3 posts in a week, yes, wordpress is great.

    There is nothing to be afraid as long as you have same original content, URL structure and same titles. dont mess these things up. Wordress is the best.

    - Google XML Sitemaps

    Submit your xml sitemaps to google webmaster tools, and use onlywire to bookmark your posts every now and then.
    Change your permalink structure to a custom structure, that includes the postname.

    In my experience wordpress is more better than the static html site becuase of plenty of plugins that increases your ranking in search engines.
