Can web surfers from China and Japan view Western websites?

    Every time I go to an Asian websites they are composed mostly of this "?????????" and I was wondering if web surfers had similar problems viewing western websites? Can anyone from that part of the globe share what they know about this? Thank you.

    You should install the "language package" in order to view the chinese/japanese characters.

    No, we do not have such problem viewing western websites. The problem you are seeing ???? when you go to an Asian websites are that you did not install language support for asian languages.

    Yeah it's language support, you need to get language packs. One thing though, I don't think many Chinese people can view Western websites for other reasons - censorship.

    Okay thanks...the reason I ask is because I'm interested in exchanging links with funny sites from China, Japan and other Asian nations....as well as India.
