And as per your question, I would like to say that, please wait for more 2 days, before you can withdraw to your bank account.. And Paypal will send you back your 78$.

No, I do not think, Paypal will ever give back the money lost in currency conversion.
They will just not charge the fees (i.e. Rs. 50 for each withdrawal below INR 7000), but they will not give what is lost in currency exchange.

I have lost USD 72.50 in this ....

Further, To withdraw money by another method I had to pay 6% extra.... so much for paypal

Well its better if you wait for couple of days before you do another withdrawal. And why don't you call up PayPal and ask them if they gonna refund you your money that you lost in currency conversion? They should refund it as it was not your fault and glitch was from PayPal side.

    Thanks

when are they going to resolve the withdrawal issue with indian banks? any word yet?
i dont think they are not going to refund the lost fee ($25 return fee + currency devaluation) from the bank reversal. what is lost is lost!

Can anyone tell me did any one got the payment via PAYPAL CHECK system. When will all this get RESOLVED. And will paypal refund the REVERSAL fees.

    Hi friend,

Actually paypal has not charged any reversal fees with anyone! Its not reversal fees, its simply a reversed transaction. They have offered you 0.0206810$ for a rupee which is their conversion rate like they offer 45.13 INR for a dollar today. Paypal just play safe to have a maximum advantage in these conversion factors. Only very few people living in the United States may be in need for money being withdrawn from a bank account in India and need it terms of dollars and even in that case, the Indian would be pushed to put in a lot of money for a few dollars because of this conversion rate. So both ways paypal is taking advantage with indians.

I have had enough of withdrawal problems and having to foot the bill of currency conversion (at least... till Paypal pays me back), I would not advice anyone to immediately go for withdrawals.

It is better to wait some days out and see if there is any intimation on it, from Paypal!

    Regards,
