Can we use offline marketing plan implment with online/internet business?

    As I mentioned, I just wonder if general marketing plan and business plan in offline market and use or implement with online/internet business. I think some factors in online business is different from offline business. What do you think? Give me some comments. :D

    You should certainly be using marketing and business plans for an online business, just as with an offline business. And the vast majority of the business plan will be exactly the same... the details will just deal with an online market and strategies rather than offline. You still need to research your competition, tell what your strengths and weaknesses are, describe your products/services, explain how you plan to attact customers/clients/visitors, etc. The only thing that might differ in format would be the marketing plan. A general template can certainly be adapted for Internet marketing plans, simply by focusing your tactical choices around driving traffic or online sales rather than offline methods (although many online businesses do in fact successfully use offline marketing methods anyway). At most, you might change a few headings for sections or add a few things if you wanted. But a marketing plan is a marketing plan, and a business plan is a business plan, no matter what form the business is in.
