Can we use non standard ad formats in CJ?

    Hi,

    Can we use our own ad/graphic/image instead of the ones provided by advertiser?
    I mean I want to create my own banner for an advertiser (of course URL will remain the same otherwise how would they track it) so is this allowed?

    It's probably not officially allowed, but lots of people do it.

    When I do it, I use a generic text link, not a banner link. Just be careful about using trademarks in your own banners, most advertisers will be cool with it, but some are jerks (yes Sony, I'm talking about you).

    So if someone is caught doing it, do they ban account? Is there any past example?

    I would talk to each advertiser specifically... If the advertiser is worth making up your own banners or text links... they are worth an email.

    I will do something then be like "could you check this"

    They will tell you, yes or no...

    You can get kicked out of cj... if advertisers complain to CJ.com that is why it is best to just email the advertiser themselves...

    I use customized banners with almost all my CJ advertisers and no issue. I do over 30 sales a day with them and never an issue.
