Can we use adsense on free mp3 sites?

    Hi all,

    One of my friend wants to run adsense on his free mp3 website. Website only provide links to mp3s which are hosted on other websites/servers.

    I want to ask that if Google allows ads on such websites.

    If the mp3 are legal i do not see why not. If the mp3s are not i would not put adsense on the site.

    Legal mp3s are a band that gives them away or your own music. If you are linking to sites that have mp3 downloads that people upload illegaly do not put adsense on the site.

    All videos on YouTube are not legal, are they? But google ads are still here. Anyone know the reason?

    Yeah, but I agree that not all videos are legal, those who are not are removed by the community eventually however.

    My friend has told me that he has bought free mp3 db, the seller told that these mp3s are legal. Should he place google ads on his site?

    bought free mp3 :confused:
    if the seller says they are royalty free,doesn't mean they are.
    there are ways to check on the web.if they end not to be,there are other legal issues to worry about other then adsense.

    no he don't buy free mp3s, but a db which has links to legal mp3s, thats what he told me. Any idea about it?
