Also Its first 10,000 pages I can create it in 10 days as I visit 1000 pages daily

 

Dmoz idea sounds ok. But in reality, there shouldn't be so many editors. Too many editors mean too many opinions. Bunch of egos doing different things won't create an consistant long term success. I think that's how Dmoz died.

 

Thats why I am thinking of 100-1000 editors

Yes there would be definite revenue model in place like google adsense ads in submission pages and revenue sharing for instant inclusion and review submissions

I am afraid that if a world is to be occupied by aliens I think people who have criticized me would not be brave enough to stand against them

 

dmoz doesnt exist without google backing it.. if somebody convinces google to let them start a directory and have google give it large amounts of credit in their results then its possible. And thats just not going to happen.

that's not the first time i've heard of this idea. Who would hold the payments? Also, corruption exist everywhere.

Dmoz does not have a revenue model., Your intention is not to create a directory useful the for public but for profit., If profit is your motive, You need to start a business.,
Directories will just give crap income minus your time involved to maintain the sites.,
