Thanks Alam
I have had best results setting up sniper-sites: super targeted keyword domains on keywords with little competition and low search volume. It doesn't seem like much at first, when these websites only bring in 1-2 sales per month... but if you keep developing new domains regularly, the time will come when the profits will build up rather nicely. The great thing about this method is that it doesn't call for much link building at all. As such it's much more time-efficient than any other methods I've tried... and I've tried pretty much every trick in the book ever since I learned about Clickbank in fall 2009. (e-mail marketing, twitter and facebook promotion, article marketing, forum promotion, media buys, adwords, and so on) For example I have a few hundreds of articles out there, and they're generating just a fraction of the profit as these laser-targeted sites, even though I probably spent twice as much time writing these articles, compared to the time I spend developing my network of sniper websites. If I could go back in time, I'd focus exclusively on creating sniper sites. But hey, experience is the higher profit, in the grand scheme of things. Make no mistake: this kind of approach is a bit like building castles on quicksand. The thing is they're tiny castles you can build in 1-2 days, and apparently they won't sink so easily; some of my sniper sites have been holding their first page ranking for more than a year. I still think the way to go for anyone serious about clickbank is developing bigger authority websites... that's the way to go, if you want to be making 5 digits per months. But for anyone who's just dabbling with affiliate marketing and trying to get their first dozens sales... sniper websites is where it's at!

I'm a merchant (Clickbank ID: estrong) selling a strengthening e-book for runners. Been doing all direct sales thus far pretty much. Question for Affiliates: what is the most helpful in terms of support from the merchant? Besides the obvious stuff like creatives, email copy, etc. www.strongrunning.com/affiliates/ I've heard that providing affiliates with a template for a landing page is helpful. Is this in fact really helpful or do most good affiliates already have a template they can use?
@estrong - higher commissions!!!! are most helpful - only kidding man Landing page template are great cause my design skills suck
