Can we send money from India to USA via western unin?

    Does RBI allow to send money from India to USA trough western unin? IS there some transaction limit? Any suggestion?

    You can wire transfer to send money to USA via your bank account. Western Union can be used in India only for receiving money.

    From India you cannot send payment to any country via Western union, thanks to RBI and its great rules... You can receive amount via western union, for US bank only way is wire transfer

    thats right currently india doesnt allow you to send money from india to anywhere but you can receive payments from anywhere to india.

    Sending money from India to U.S. is still not supported by Western Union. You can just receive the money from U.S. And why don't you try some alternative options like xoom ?
