can we send and recieve funds without PAN card

as applied for PAN card, so will get it within some days. Till that can we send and receive money through paypal in india.

In India, as of April 1, all bank accounts are required to have PAN. of course! any transactions of cash, above 50'000 are required to have PAN.
Thats what i heard. Just get pan and save all your doubts.

 

As paypla asking for PAN card no. for Indian account holders. what it is just for verification not for Tax purpose and you can withdrawal without PAN till 31 march.

I just spoke to a PayPal official ... he confirmed that u can even withdraw without PAN ... The limits of wothdrawl are 2500 $ if u are haivng personal PayPal ... no limits for others

Someone saying RBI made it compulsory i mean PAN from 1st of April ... in that case from 1st April 2010 ... i will be required to provide them PAN without fail in case of withdrawal ( This is my personal exp .. PayPal dont have any info about this )

Anyways to get ur business up with PayPal please get your PAN today or switch to other payment processor

Thanks... buddy, for clarifying from the source itself but I am little confused now about it being compulsory from 1st April too, or else Paypal would surely be aware of it!
If PAN is not being quoted by them anywhere as of now, I wonder what was the need to ask for it.. in the first place?

I just withdrew too, without pan card info in 1 account..lets see when they wud stop it.. till then, we can accept, send/ receive payments without pan card.

BTW they said you can withdraw without PAN .. but my exp says not to withdraw more than 50K at one go ... if u don't have one
