Hi, I would like to know that is it possible someway to restrict people to only homepage of a blog and when they click onto some other page, they will be asked to login. Possible? let me know.
Yup, it's possible. 1. Pick a title for a page. 2. Add a bit of random text, one or three words 3. Go to settings 4. Click on READING 5. For front page displays, select static page 6. Click on the Front Page drop-down menu and select the page you just created 7. Hit save and you're done. 8. After that, you can change or delete the title of that page and alter the text.
There are two options available for doing this first is go to your page and make it password protected and the second is use page links to plugin to redirect your all pages to home page by providing the url of your home page in every post or page.
You need a plugin to do this. I use s2member membership plugin and works well. This plugins allows people to pay for your content. What you have to do, install the plugins, write the sales text on homepage and add the button provided by the plugin. The setup of the plugin is very easy. Once you're done, go to plugin pages -> scripting and there you will see the code you need to make your pages private. If the user have permissions to access the page, allow, else redirect. This can also be done from admin panel by selecting the pages you want to be only for paying users.
