Can we question their patriotism now?

    Is it okay?

Asking the question - what if terrorists kill enough people before the elections to swing the midterm elections. then going on to suggest all the "good" that would come out of it.

Terrorists attack - time for massive social programs they could make after they got power. Oh those crazy libs!

Can we question their patriotism, now? Or is that still wrong?

How about wondering if they are anti-semitic or not? Can we question that yet?

    Oh those crazy anti-semitic cartoons!

That guy is obviously thinking a bit outside of reality...

Another terrorist attack would only help the republicans.. not the democrats.

right, when attacks happen, you can't find the dems anywhere, they crawl out of their holes when we're taking actions ... to diss everything the administration is doing, trying to convince the public they would have had better ideas.

You can feel free to question HIS patriotism seeing as ONE person wrote that. I think using something one person said to justify dislike for a whole group of people is rather ignorant.

Well, if that's the only way we can convince the looney left that another terrorist attack is a bad thing, I suppose that's not so bad. Some people need conditions on which to base it's acceptability, unfortunately.

Yes, we can question their patriotism as well as their mental health. Just another example of how hatred for a President will cause the mentally unstable to say and support just about anything.

I don't think yo realizes how short of a walk it is from: there is no terrorist threat (and the republicans are just using it for political gain) to I wish terrorists would attack to help us (democrats gain from actual attacks). Its not a huge leap there, really.

I know. Cuz one person putting it into print means he's the only one thinking it; and that now that its in print; it won't cause others to think "hey, he has a point there and start whispering it louder"

Its just another case in point of the moonbats taking control of the democratic party and pushing it so far to the left, its barely even recognizable.

The Democratic party has been seized by the extreme left, just as the Republican party was seized by the extreme right. Those slightly left, right or in the center are out of luck.

We are no safer today than we were on 9-10. Anyone who thinks there isn't a terrorist threat is simply uneducated.

in the past couple weeks a couple of actually republican politicans , not just blog clowns, actually said the black people can't swim and another called a Indian guy a monkey.

Does that mean all right wing politicians are ignorant racists? I mean they said it on camera, thousands of people saw it they must be "thinking" it

    some blogger != democratic party

I could probably sit and list dozens of racist, homophobic stuff actually republican politicans have said, but you guys are so backwards you don't even seem to know that its something to be ashamed of.

I'm a lifelong registered republican and I couldn't agree more. The party is made up of corporate whores and they sell their platform on fear.

This is not an endoresment of the democratic party, don't be confused.

But the state of affairs of which this country has been brought into by the currently doninant republican party is in no way flattering.

I doubt it, but we can always go back in time to see how you've done the very same thing you *now* say isn't right.

Surely you don't think you are fooling anyone?

Interesting GTech that you equate criticizing the Army as a career choice with racism and homophobia, but I guess when you are a military zealot war monger it probably is the same thing.

Actually, what you said was that the military is for dumb people. Now you've resorted to calling them "military zealot war monger." Do you recall who brought racism and gays into the converstaion for moral equivalence?

    Lorien:

That guys post is the exception rather than the rule.

Every time there is an action or a threat of an action by terrorists it generates positive reactions to the current administration.

The most recent threat thwarted by the Brits gave the Bush administration a positive plug in American polls. Rove and Cheney virtually spew the threats out every week.

All that post did was point out one guy's perspective.

In fact every Western non-Muslim government has heightened its internal security because of terrorist threats.

Tough guy actions and talks have done nothing to stop terrorists from continuing to take shots at the West.

Enhanced security has been a big boon. Attacking Al Queda in Afghanistan and keeping the pressure on them has probably been a boon. Although every time we capture or kill some "bad guy" it doesn't seem to stem the tide of "terrorist stuff going on.

Killing Zarquawi in Iraq has had no negligible difference in Iraq. In fact death statistics for Iraqi's was at its highest in July and is continuing at the same pace in August. The country is at or close to a civil war...and our own generals acknowledge this.

I have no love for the "all peace/ all the time" ultra left wing. The majority of dems in office are nowhere's near that.

The country needs more balanced thinking.

Taking one guy's blog perspective, (a perspective that typically results in the public favoring the administration) and using it to brandish all who don't support Bush as pussy wimp weaklings is actually probably one of the reasons that the country seems to be growing tired of Bush!!!

Its just a wierd distortion of what is really going on.
