I don't have many Squidoo pages that are active. In fact I have just one. Can I put my own Amazon ID on that page and earn money? If so what is the commission paid by Amazon per sale?

Yes, this is a site which allows Amazon affiliate links and is still respected by Google for it's quality content. I used Squidoo over a year ago and although I didn't enjoy much success, I would still recommend it, as it's like having your own space to promote online products and services.
Can you add Amazon Affiliate links to any site then? Can I use them in forums, discussions groups, etc.? Just wondering if the link has to come from the site listed in your affiliate account. Thanks, John
I don't think you can do that. Squidoo's pages are created in such a way that they provide us with ample space to upload our own affiliate links. I understand that many marketers have placed their Allposters.com ads also on Squidoo lenses.
