Can we predict PR update?

Are there any method or tips to predict any PR update? Do Google updates their PR rating based on standard time or others? What can we do to jump on the right time?

Are PR is worthy for a website/blog? What do the represent?

It was more accurately predicatable before 2006 but in year 2006 Google introduced introduced new ways of updating PR. Though it remained predictable about the timespan of PR update but you cannot be sure which class of sites would get PR updated.

According to the angle of the sun here in Poland at the moment, I predict it will be sometime between now and later :) No, seriously, Mong is right. It was easier to predict the updates before, and they happened more periodically. As of now, Google does the updates (or exports to be more accurate) more randomly.

Yes you can predict PR only when:
If you have your new sites indexed and have some links.
then you can predict the coming PR will be bigger than 0 which is PR>0.

I have seen every PR update thats ever occured and can predict it better then any tool. I use a number of factors, spider activity, deep crawls, certain quirks in serp movement, BL updates, sub page cache refresh rates etc.

A month ago i predicted 25th Apr for TBPR, it may not be exact to the day but granted even Google can have problems just prior or during an export and delay it or revert to old data.

Conclusion; nobody can pick it precisely besides google, but you can make an educated guess if you can read all the signs.

Okay... maybe we can all predict the exact date and timespan Google do their update. Anyway someone can also creates one algorithm for that prediction. It's just like some shaman doing their things...

Do you think high PR is good for a website/blog?

the best way to predict pr update was to stalk matt cutts on his blog. If he talks too much on his blog soon there will be an update. just kidding :D

there is no way we can accurately predict the next pr update.

im thinking of a betting site for the pr updates... there you can predict when will be the next update by looking at what date has the most bets. just kidding again:D

I had read here, or matt's seo blog that PR updates happen every 3 months (time frame is now), history has showed this is correct.
