Can we play youtube vid on a phpbb forum ?

    I saw one chap who modified code for his VB and it played the youtube vids
    on the foruim itself. Something like this :

    [youtube] youtube vid link [/youtube]

    I wonder if we can do the same for phpbb ? Has anyone tried it out ?

    No problem it very easy you can play any vid you want you just need the right bbcode.

    If you're using SMF, there is a MOD that plays Youtube videos and 50 other videos from various sites. No embedded code. Just use the direct URL and the video would appear directly on the thread.

    There is a MOD for phpBB for this purpose. However, it is not as powerful as SMF's.

    I think i came across a mod in phpbb mods-database that enables to play youtube videos in forums.try searching the database.

    You can have a youtube with Highslide effect!! I have installed it before it works like a charm..highslide is a open source javascript
