if the blog is hosted on wordpress.com you can place ads in like blogger. but if you download the free PHP wordpress software, install and hosted it in your own host and your domain, you can place google ads

I don't think you can place ads on wordpress.com blogs but you can place ads and use plugins on self hosted wordpress blogs.

your best option would be to get a separate hosting and install a wordpress blog there. that way you can add adsense to your self hosted wordpress blog..

The above mentioned actually makes alot of sense, dont destroy your website on a few mistakes :) I'm quite certain you can just go out and purchase a domain, there are more then a few places where you can easily get Wordpress Themes and plug ins that'll make setting up your ad's alot more easier =]

    quoted from wordpress.com

So, you can't use adsense on your wordpress.com blog

Better is, buy a paid domain name and hosting and start your wordpress blog.

You need to have hosting plan. Download the latest Wordpress Blog then upload to your self-hosted. That's the only time you can put Adsense to your blog.

you can not put ads on free wordpress. You have to get your own hosting company. Godaddy is good, you can install wordpress from godaddy easily. From there you can customize your blog and put your ads using ads plugin.

Free wordpress blogs don't allow you to post javascript type ads like adsense. Install this wordpress on your domain and there you can install javascript.

Hi,just buy a domain and host the wordpress software on a paid host, install plugin like Advertising Manager. So you can place google adsense on it! Good luck!
