store a forum with intresting things .... boards ... and place some banners in there from adsense , smowtion , reduxmedia , there are some advertising bussines intrested in store content in your new forum ... u can start in that ... look for example the relevan tlinks u can see on digital point forums ... ...DP .. Ads by Google .. ... it's a good point to start ...
I think it's going to be important for you to take advantage of advertising opportunities. Think about Google Adsense, affiliate programs, advertisers. Could you even advertise your own products?
Don't even think about putting in ad's for the first few months when creating your forums. New/experienced users will think the forums where just made for advertisements/money. Instead, later on when you have a stable community, start putting up Google Ads. That is what a friend of mine has done and til' this date successfully owns a forums covering costs for the servers, and new upgrades too it.
