Suggestion Can we have a cut off date for the "Similar Thread"

All the threads I visit have a "Similar Treads" section at the bottom of the thread, which I would love. The only problem with it is that all the threads are really old. I couldn't find anything in the rules about bumping old threads, so it might be alright here, but every other forum I am part of would discourage bumping a thread from 2005.

Basically is there a way we can get more relevant threads in the similar threads section?

Only bump an old thread if you have something of value to add or ask. Great job, thanks for the info type posts will result in bumping infraction.

I agree, I have looked at 'similar threads' before only to find they are years old and there is no way you can have anything to say on a 5 year old post.
Infact in this very thread the 'similar threads' are from:
    March 3 2009
    July 24 2007
    July 14 2007
    June 26 2007
    October 20 2005 Thats 5 years old!

And even if you read these old thread most of the information, links or other details no longer exists or are outdated and dont work.
How about pruning the database of all posts over 3 years old, this would speed up the forum as well as reducing server space.

Exactly why I would love to see a cap put on the similar thread Hardeep. Anyway, I am alright ignoring it, but if I am looking at a thread chances are I am interested in it, and similar threads would probably be great.
