    you can get a free domain from chi.mp but i dont know where can you find a hosting for free.

    You can get a free .com domain if you purchase a hosting package ..

    But i don't think you can get a generic domain and a hosting for free....

    Well you can use some rebate sites basically you have to pay the hosting amount and these rebate sites give the money back after 2 months

    It is best to own your domain. at $7-10 dollars, very cheap, then you can find cheap hosting from $3 - $8 dollars one that I know of domainsofgold.com

    I agree with KeithCash--the best thing to do is buy your own domain and I don't know of any free hosting that's reliable. I use godaddy.com for my website.

    most web hosting companies offering free domain name if you also purchase hosting plan so choose companies which offer free domain name. now a days most web masters using webhosting pad which is cheep and reliable.
