Hey guys I was just researching and found that if we perform 301 redirect of some couple of domain to our money site than we will see a good boost in ranking.. How many of you agree with this concept ? I have 3-4 domains who has good amount of back-link should I perform this . Your answer will be highly appreciated..

Yes, 301 redirects will drip all the authority from that domain over to yours. It can be good to use some on all tiers of your network, but don't overdue it. You should take a few and do them to your money domain, then take a few more and do them to each of your tier 1 sites as well if possible.

301 redirect is one of the ON page factor, which has to be considered. You can't expect a boost by just adding it. Make sure that your site has a unique and quality contents, ON page activities is properly done and have good quality backlinks.

If you have domain name penality in your site, then use 302 Redirect in your site & move back after 1 year back onto first(when remove penality).

It won't give you a BOOST. It just helps you flow the authority to your money site! Just be sure that it has HIGH authority and HIGH PR! ;)

Every post in this thread is WRONG. lol

It CAN give you a boost/ improve your rankings IF:
The site(s) you are 301'ing over has LINKS and juice associated with it.
If it is just a site with content and no links, it will be useless.
