Could you possibly post an example of what you're talking about? There's several methods of doing it, but it depends entirely on the photo.
Ah, I figured he wanted to cover up the letters so it looked as if they weren't ever there, which he would have to use something like the Clone Stamp tool to do. If you're going to just delete them then yeah, you can use one of the Lasso tools, but if the letters are a solid color then you might as well just use the Magic Wand tool.
The easiest way is to use the stamp tool ... simple and very easy to do by taking the area closest next doodle writing.
yes you can edit the text in a photo using photoshop, using lasso tool, clone stamp tool, and this really need skill in photoshop.
i agree with gestalt,.... if you have CS5 ,then try content aware filling, some times it works like magic.
If you still using CS, CS2 or CS3 and can't afford to buy (yet) the CS5 like me, then using the "Clone Stamp Tool" and "Patch Tool" is enough. It's better to use the Clone Stamp Tool and Patch Tool on old version of photoshop than using the latest features of "torrent/warez/crack downloaded" of Photoshop CS5 ^_^ (unless your using a trial version)
your trying to remove someones watermark on someones private property and claim it yours? i dont mind you can use clone stamp but i have my own techniques, i should make you guys photoshop product making class (building up 3D objects and making photorealistic pictures).
