    Chandan is his name, and Signapurkar Panaji is the name of the city..Goa is the state.

    Anyway, I knew he was not honest about things from day one. What's the need to be so secretive? Now I see, the website has become a user submitted directory. It has got quite a few listings. Maybe he wanted only this!

    No, Chandan Signapurkar is his name I deleted the phone nos, etc that came in between his name and Panaji GOA.
    Google for 'Chandan Signapurkar Panaji' and you'll find the electoral roll on http://electionsgoa.nic.in/ceo-admin/reports/Panaji/AC10_7/part7.pdf , here check out entry no. 844.
    goes to show how focused he was :).
    I do not see what was so big in the 'people's search engine' that he intended to build. BTW, I see that undir.com is for sale on sedo.

    On his forum he was asked why he was banned but I did not to see him answer it - Since he had got more then 40 members (when I last checked his forum, he probably got many more later) he should have gone ahead with the project. He chickened out instead.

    I contacted him through email and proposed to buy his domain undir.com which was for sale on sedo. Sold it to me for $500. I think I will carry on his project. What say people?

    500$ is a alot dude. Does the domain (www.undir.com) has any traffic and revenue from Sedo? I think you should buy a new domain, and start a new project. Invest 500$ on some other projects, You'll get more profit. Just create a proxy network.. ;)

    Lol, The site is not even worth 150$. I'd recommend you to start 10 proxies and invest all the money on advertising. I'm sure that you'd easily get back that 150$++ within few weeks.
