Can we do this , so as to know which ads get clicked on ?

    We always wonder what ads on our pages do actually get clicked on , since adsense provides no such data, however, if we create a different channel for each advt, is it allowed ? or are people doing it already ? :p

    Yes, that's the whole idea of channels. You can make URL channels, which allow you to monitor the ads on a particular site, or custom channels, which allow you to monitor individual ad units. You can have a maximum of 200 channels total.
