Hello Friends, I am not sure either to ask this question here or not. But I have a strong doubt, once I was working for an SEO company, and we had around 400 blogs (In-house SEO). But fortunately all those websites were penalized by Google. One Sunday early morning at 6AM we received a mail from my CEO, that we need to remove the blog roll in the side bar of all those 400 blogs (which was the cause), as he had requested Google to crawl all of his sites again and he received a mail from Google saying that all our 400 blogs would crawl around 11AM. We were astonished thinking how can google accept request like that, there are millions of bloggers over the globe, for that we received an answer that he has a person's called John who is working for google and will do the help if his sites are penalized. Now I want to know all the facts of Googe Crawler, can anyone please share the information you know or share me the link which details me the facts.
You can use a sitemap to suggest to Google how often you wish the content to be crawled, but this is only taken as a guide. High quality, regularly updated content will ensure you are crawled frequently. No what I mean to ask is. Suppose a bunch of sites are penalized and deindexed by Google. Now after rectifying it can I ask google to crawl the blogs again, and does they take my request and give me a stimulated time on when the crawl would occur?
As Yes it was a total bullshit, I just wanted to reconfirm it with the experts like you. The reason I raised this question is for the same reason I was once fooled by my X CEO, and worked on a holiday like a donkey believing his words. I hope there is nothing work in clearing my doubts.
