Can we add both tag manager and google analytics codes snippet at same time or not?

Hi,

I am checking analytics reports for the site and find the bounce rate is very low.
which means I have duplicate tracking, so upon checking with tag manager chrome extension
It shows duplicate, now i removed analytics code snippet from the site

Can we add both these codes snippet at same time or not?
