I also agree with you at this point. But the same also applies with the PayPal cheque not only with the xoom. What I mean to say is if you are getting PayPal cheque without any legal proof of your business you can also get that one from xoom. And of course that's why there are some limitations using PayPal or xoom service for monthly withdrawal. For India you will not be in trouble till you get less than INR 10,00,000/Annum in the form of foreign currency & that is 25,000 USD that's why PP has limitation of 2500 USD withdrawal per month for Indians. As long as you are well below this limit there won't be any problem for you from Income tax department or any other financial authority. And I think more than 95% of the members are only looking for few hundred bucks/month to withdraw from PP to INR using xoom so no problem at all for them. You must have some proof of your business like inventory and all these if you are going for a huge transfer/annum say for more than INR 10,00,000/annum. But I think hardly anyone from here on DP is looking for that much huge transaction so no fear whatsoever.

You are asking to use paypal via cheque i ve requested 50 days ago still no signs..i ve also used xoom once ,got payment in 3 days..

Xoom isn't different from paypal cheque as money got deposit via bank to bank cheque my case and it shouldn't have any probs for anyone .

Xoom is the best service for Indians..

 

I have a query, please let me know if you could help me... I want to pay to GoDaddy using PayPal. However, during check-out process, it asks me about my credit card details! Perhaps, it is because I am unverified buyer on PayPal. But I am not sure why I should provide my credit card details! Will I be charged by PayPal? How does it work out? Is it safe to provide credit card details to PayPal? How will it benefit me, if I become Verified buyer on PayPal???

Fema Applies for currency coming to india other then indian rupees . Via xoom people gets funds in indian rupees not in foreign currency . if we get funds from xoom and it is illegal then dont you think paypal is also illegal .
