Can use keyword external tool to check plus sign

I want to check some keyword with plus sign (+) with Google Keyword tool external.

example. want to check "amino+"

Because some keyword that have "+" will have lower search results.
But when I check in Google keyword tool, "+" always mean and so I can't check it.
Check for "amino+" always return as "amino"
