Last time I checked Bush was pushing his own religious agenda with regards to the way the US was run (stem cell research,etc), and I am sure he would love to do it in other countries if he had the power.
If he wasnt such a failure I would be worried.

Stem cell research -- or any other medical research -- is not a Constitutional use of federal money.

To quote Ronald Reagan again this morning:

The U.S. Constitution did not grant to the Federal Government the right to take money from American taxpayers and spend it on any damned thing the politicians please.

If people want to spend their money on stem cell research, they should be allowed to spend their own money to do so.
