Nor did I say you said nuking anyone was acceptable. I simply repeated your backwards thoughts and changed the subjects.

Let's not forget your terrorist friend, ahmadeenaspunk who is cheering for Iran to commit [another] Jewish holocaust. No objections there, eh? ;)

i never said it was acceptable...I said that a few nukes would end it real quick...but you however seem to point out that you have no objections with terrorists having nukes....the difference between the US and terrorists is that terrorists like amadenaJIHAD would actually use a nuke, whereas the US would prefer a peaceful outcome.

    Are you sure about that???
Who are the ones calling for bombing and military actions???
I have never heard Iran threatening military action against the US!!!

As far as I know, Iran has NEVER invaded any country in recent history.

to my knowledge, AmandenaJIHAD is the one calling for the US and Israel to be wiped off the map...yeah, they haven't invaded anyone (they as in the country of Iran), but lets talk about all the muslim conquests that happened 1000 years or so ago....

    muslim terrorists?

Or should I say, your buds? Just because you don't want anyone to take action against those that threaten and carry out attacks on infidels doesn't mean everyone wants the same. Remember, infidels are not fond of dying. We don't get the fake virgins.

Someone seems to have forgotten the only country that ever dropped nukes on civilians...

So your problem is with Islam not Iran... and if you wana go into religion, may I remind you that Christians have killed more people in the world that Muslims can ever imagine to kill...

Back to the original question of the thread. U.S has already lost the war with Iran...

Its a different time period, different President, etc. We had no choice. It's either lose a bunch of soldiers until Japan gave up or end the war as quick as possible.

oh, but the love to bring it up....they also easily forget that the US was the main sponsor in getting countries to disarm their nukes, including their own. They also forget that the US could have but did not use them in Vietnam....but hey, terrorist supporters easily forget that, especially when trying to reason with why they SHOULD have a nuke...

The "war" in Iraq was over a long time ago. We've been dealing with the aftermath ever since and calling it "the war".

So in that light we won! We went in there and whooped that a$$, overthrew Saddam, got the Bush family's revenge all sorted out via hanging and now our military is dying over there for it as payment.

So the question is will the US ever figure out how to get out of this mess someone got us into. With the partisan bickering going on on both sides of the aisle right now... it's not looking good.

To question whether we can win a war is absurd. The U.S. military is capable of winning ANY true "war". You're just confused because the president turned the word war into a buzzword like the war on drugs...

Just to be clear, Iran does nothing in the open they are sneaky little cowards who support other to do their bidding. I am not saying all people of Iran are bad but the leaders are extreme in their hatred of any people from the West.

As far as Islam goes, I do not say any religion is bad it is the extremist who shed a bad light on Islam. The same can be said for Christians extremist who have done the same thing. History is filled with people using religion as a justification for violence.

Well said and not much I can add to that!

I'm pretty sure Japan didn't use nukes on Pearl Harbor, but it sure looked like it. Oddly enough, they never attacked the US again after that. Who would have thought?

It's kinda hard to attack someone when the UN legislates the beejeezus outta you, after the Allies melt your citizens in major urban centers.

Pearl Harbour was horrible, but if it was nuked, no one would have survived. You're comparing less than 5,000 dead and injured to 250,000. The #s don't jive my dear friend.

The UN was created after the end of WWII.

I'm not interested in numbers jiving nor was that my intention. War isn't about "one weapon for thee, one weapon for me."

It stopped the war, sparing the lives of countless others.

Lesson learned? Don't attack the US. Perhaps it's time for some additional "lessons learned" out there.

but why sacrifice more American lives when we could have avoided them and just drop the a-bomb? Japanese wasn't going to give up and it would have ended with more casualties on both sides.
