Can this improve the keyword search ranking?

I want to get a good ranking on google search "mp3 to wmv converter", it is on the top 5 but I want to improve it to top 2 or top 3.

Lots of DP friends told me i need to get more backlinks to improve the ranking. Here i get a way to get some backlinks, but the anchor I must set to "WMV to mp3 converter", not "mp3 to wmv converter".

Can this improve the "mp3 to wmv converter" keyword search ranking also? because I need "mp3 to wmv converter" people, not wmv to mp3....

your friends are right, try to get quality links. Links to related site would help you boost your ranking.

 

if you want your keyword either of the two you should build quality links on it. Monitor the rankings when you are building links you might over do it and may have a negative effect.

You can improve the ranking through developing quality back links but the anchor "WMV to mp3 converter" will not work as "mp3 to WMV converter" can do. Because it is totally opposite idea from your keyword. It can generate traffic but not quality traffic.

might your competitor for that terms has a good type of IBL. Not just link, consider its quality. Single Quality link can beat a hundred or thousand of links.

 

i too agree to your point that quality backlinks are the only way to increase your sites ranking but creating google ads may always affect to your rankings.
