I See lot of garbage /duplicate threads posted in bst section . similar kinda service is been provided by 20 members(dont know which one to choose) My idea is :: one Person Shouldnt Be allowed to Start More than 5 thread in BST PER WEEK ? Hows the idea? I think this way the garbage can be decreased ..........
Probably better putting this in the suggestions and feedback section of the forum. I'd say 5 is quite a low number for that though. I mean some people have a lot to sell.
It has some merit. But then those people who rely on the buy sell sub-forum, who sell a lot more than 5 products/services a week, can't make money. So i don't think it can be done. We can however penalise duplicate threads and thats what we should be doing more of.
I think there are many members who open more than 10 effective threads in BST per month and do effective trades through those threads.So i think this restricting idea wont be good. and about duplicate threads:at the same time more than one coders may want to offer similar kind of coding service.So the content of the thread post as well as the title may be same.if duplicate threading is stopped then what will they do?
even 2 new thread per day wont be bad (tht makes 14 a week) yes we can increase the number to 14 .....
It's a great idea to get rid of duplicate threads by the same buyer or seller. Although the number of posts there allowed should be studied carefully.
