    I want to target "abc def "

    Keyword
    and not having abcdef .com
    But having defabc.com

    if some one types abc def

    Can i gte in first place?

    yes definitely...it won't be a problem because of the keyword proximity...moreover, if you optimize the pages well with proper balance you will achieve 1st position

    Not usually. If you are targeting "search optimization" but you use the keyword "optimization search", you will not make the first 20 pages.

    If you search for the term "search engine optimization", the term "search optimization" will come up first due to "word order".

    The only way your concept would work is for uncompetitive keywords.

    I think it is possible but the keyword should not be too competitive and you should know how to rank well and optimize a lot.

    I think you can do it if you build links with the chosen anchor text you are looking for and optimise the site for that keyword. Many sites rank for keywords that are not in the url itself.
