Can this Happen ? Chargeback ?

  1. #1
    My customer paid me. and then filed for the chargeback stating item not received.

    but after 2 days she received the package and she cancelled the chargeback.

    But I never received anything.

    Can paypal eat away the money ?

    Yes paypal can do that. Just give them a call. is your account limited?

    Account got limited now , 15 days back whereas I am telling you the story of 2 months back !!

    She didn't cancel the package.

    She thought she wont get the package and she filed for chargeback. But in 2 days time she recieved it. and she cancelled the same.

    I doubt if your buyer is telling you the truth. She is perhaps cheating on you and not paypal.

    Do try to get the e-mail from your buyer showing you the proof of her claim of reversal of charge back and see if it helps in forwarding the same to Paypal.
    Your account being limited now, I doubt you can do anything more in this regard, at least as of now. :(

    Just give them a phone call (paypal) and let them know of everything from the beginning. If you have any conversion (email details) with your buyer that "she received the package and cancelled te chargeback" then send them to paypal.

    I think you also should contact the buyer..If you can not get the money from paypal,you can ask the buyer to send you again.paypal will not eat away ur money...

    I want to know just one charge back can resulted in ur account limited?

    I have never had my account limited due to a single chargeback to answer Moses8595.

    The best solution has already been stated. You should call PayPal directly as dealing with PayPal via email can be a timely process in some cases. Have all your information regarding the claim ready to email the person your speaking with as they will normally wait on the phone for you to send it to them.

    Just call paypal or send email to them,prepare some document such as your transaction detail and shipping prove. Maybe paypal can help you to get back your money
