Hi sorry if this is in the wrong section, but I am unsure of where it should be. me and a friend need a site to be made that will need to have a few features on it. The site would need a place where the visitor can place there website name in a search box, along with some other information regarding there site. So in the upload box area there will need to be some boxes with these fields in; Page Rank Alexea Rank Unique Content Date Established Traffic Revenue Site Structure (As in weather its a CPA site, Affiliate site, or a clickbank listed site, and any other types that can be thought of) And also we would need an attachment box to so that they can upload screen shots too. Once the visitor sends the information it goes to a admin sort of place where we would need to log in and we would have all of the information avlable to us. Also in the admin section we would need a sort of filter system so that we can view sites first by best of any of the info we would choose such as best alexea rank, or highest page rank. Then the list os sites would change depending on what we are searching for. Does any of this make sense toy you? Hope so, So my question really would be could this be done first of, and also what sort of price range would this be in, and also what would it need to be coded in what language. This can be done mate. It would just be a set of fields where information is typed in and then sent to a authorization page for staff and then stored in a database when accepted... I'm not a coder so I can't help you in the language but it will be a unique build. The costing could be around $100 or so (I'm just guessing of what I'd charge here)?
Hey, The most suitable language I would recommend is PHP and saving the data to a MySQL database and a separate folder per submitted domain for screenshots. It's honestly not that much work for an experienced developer, depending on how in-depth you want the administration panel; eg. with logins/user accounts/management (username/password changing & creating) and the data filtering. If you (or your friend) knows any PHP at all; you may be able to modify one of the thousands of free scripts that are floating around the internet. You could probably get it done for around $60-$100 on DP or some other freelance forums, you'll be paying a much higher price having a professional company develop it for you. Regards, Steve
