Can the ClickBank account be "paused"?

    Hi,

I would like to know if I can "freeze" my ClickBank account, because right now I'm rebuilding my site, so no transactions will happen for the entire summer, probably.
And I don't want them to take back the money accumulated dollar-by-dollar, because that would happen...

I'm not aware of this being possible. ClickBank also changed its interface and although it's more practical, it's so unknown to me...

I even contacted them, but they didn't answer my question...
I repeated my question and it lags behind, so I turned to this forum...

    How could I pause it?

This is the only think I found on their KB:

Accounts with a positive balance but no earnings for an extended period of time are considered dormant. Dormant accounts are subject to a fee.

That sound sooooo "cute"! But it's so unfair!

The "dormant account" fee is exactly what I want to avoid, but until they send the payment, it will take a long time and I don't want to give a single cent away "for nothing".

There should be some way to solve this...

Yea sorry. Unfortunately there is no workaround method I'm aware off.

PS: The only workaround method is grey hat and against their TOS.

The only thing I could do is to set my product "inactive"...
Not sure whether this will have the desired effect.

if you can generate at least 1 sale as an affiliate during that time, or have a recurring sale, you should be fine
try a quick fix of selling at least 1 recurring product to get at least 1 sales a month and since its recurring you dont need a site either (as an affiliate). I have a post in this Clickbank check it out for a solution, if you make at least 1 sale quickly you get a recurring rebill and dont have to worry about going dormant

I don't think it's allowed to buy your own product(s)... Is it?

What if someone buys from himself, then refunds himself. Would that be dormant? And would they still charge? :p

Imagine if they suddenly "wake up" with my name there and I am currently waiting for my cheque to be sent out.

Right now my product is paused. Not sure if this will work.
Staff seems quite rude, I just want to take my money out. Problem is that very soon I will enter the "dormant mode" within a few days and then I will have to wait another week for them to send the cheque, a few weeks until it arrives. It could take 2-5 weeks, depending on their speed and the postal service.

That could take a lot of money from me!
