i have a CJ account with few other accounts like element5 and all... I have this question from the very first day but I got very weird answers and no single straight answer...my question is

For example, If I have a code for banner, an html code, can I take the link(I mean the one in a href tag) and use it somewhere else??? I do use it to make it compatible with my website...
However, I guess due to this my sales are not tracked...
Also if you have a link of affiliate, they also give a unnecessary image tag after the link whose width and hieght are 1.. and it doesnt show up on the website...so I normally delete it...I only give importance to the link in anchor tag, which contain my affiliate id....so plz tell if im doing it wrong or right???
because for the past 3 months, after getting more then 5000 visitors i hv not converted one sale...

Any time you alter the code you risk not getting paid. It's just that simple.

The answer to your question is yes you can take parts of the code and the links will work. If you remove the tracking pixel your reports will be inaccurate.

Will your sales be recorded? Possibly.

CJ code is cumbersome and not very convenient. The best thing you can do is if you use parts of the code is to test it in a couple of browsers and see if the cookies are being set.
