Can Spiders View Ads?

    Can spiders view banner ads? I'm asking because ive got a pretty static stats page that is getting hammered by spiders...im wondering if I could put a banner ad on there and get credit for impressions?

    Depends on the system being used to serve up the ads. If it's JavaScript, no.

    some CPM advertisers can be triggered by this...

    before VB3 was launched, and people had VB2, there was an archive hack, and a lot of people were making a bit of money but just usin CPM ads in the archive :) I'm sure it'd still work if you can find the right CPM ad agency, although I doubt it'd be a really insane source of revenue
