I have the newest version of IE and so does everyone I know. Someone told me that it shows up messed up in IE, but it's fine when I look at it. I think he has a very old version but I would like to have someone verify that it works in IE 5 and 6.

Can any one with on of those older versions check it for me. Here is the link. http://www.kingdomarcade.com/4-sale/t1/index.php

Same here in IE6.x -- you can't use 100% width with float left because of the padding default of MSIE - try using 98% width instead.

I have attached a print+screen of how your site looks on IE 6.

    On mozilla seems fine

    Check out your <div id="contentContainer"> <div id="contentContainerBlue">
    because you might be overflowing

    Regards

Thanks I have removed all width: 100%; from the CSS and changed them to the correct pixel widths. I have floated <div id="contentContainer"> to the right again. Some other changes were made also.

I am disliking Internet Explorer less and less these days. I never really did like them to begin with though.

    @subliminal
Thanks for the screen shot. That is what I thought it would look like because I was having issues before where it did the same thing in all browsers. The problem was fixed in firefox by removing a text-align attribute from <div id="main">.

My god I hope it's ok now.

F***. This is really getting me PO'd. I have heard that IE has a major problem with float: right; that was only fixed in IE7. I will try to position it but I am not 100% sure how to do that and still have the have the footer 5px below the content.

Reference the MSIE Box Model bug ..........

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internet_Explorer_box_model_bug

.......... I use float left boxes but set the accumulative width at 98% to accommodate (especially) IE 6.x padding. My Home page (sig below) displays as designed in MSIE 6.x, MSIE 7.x, Opera 9.x, Firefox 2.x at 1082x1024, 1024x768, 800x600 and small screen rendering (PDA) resolutions IAW my testing (hopefully).

Thanks for the link. I went trough my CSS and added a style sheet for IE 5 and 6 with the width of the borders and padding to the overall elements widths.

I am pretty sure there will be errors involving different sections widths not matching.

I have tried installing IE 5 and 6 but my computer wont let me. It was built less than a week or two ago. Just arrived Friday morning. Is there a site that has a script for checking this sort of thing? I highly doubt there is though.

if you still need an eyes on IE 6.0.29 - currently looks almost the same as on Subliiminal screenshot.
btw IE is crap and troublemaker in my opinion. I dont like it either.

Do not concern yourself with MSIE 5.x -- not even minuscule usage is being reported these days. Following is an excellent, and exhaustive, reference:
