Can someone tell me if this is a Scam or not?

    Hi everyone,

I checked this site out on BBB and there was no listing for it. If you read the FAQ, it seems pretty convincing that it is not a scam. Anyways, tell me what you think.

Also, if you know of any REAL data entry from home sites, please post the links here.

    Thanks,
    Ben

I can't work out why I'd have to pay money to start earning money. Either they want to hire or they don't.

    This is a scam.

It looks like the old "get paid to stuff envelopes" BS. In the late 80's and early 90s, this money-making "opportunity" was all over the place. The ads would tell you that you can make $1 per envelop you stuff.

So, you send $40 to learn how--always a tip off.

The information comes and you see that to get paid, you need to start up a direct mail company. You take a sales letter and send it to a list. When orders come in, you're paid. They came up with the $1 per envelop by figuring out the normal response rate, costs, etc.

So, all the people who thought this was a job got suckered. It was just info telling you to start your own business--and crappy info at that.

The data entry thing looks to be the same way. I'm not going into detail, but I can think of many ways to apply the envelope system to data entry.

And, I can tell you that it looks like a survey system.

    I'd move along.

There are things things to remember whenever you come across one of these ads or websites:

    1. There's no such thing as a free lunch.

    2. If it looks too good to be true it probably is.

    3. Never pay someone to start a new job.
