I launched a new site 2 or 3 days ago, and it has been a success in my eyes (1200 visitors/day), but I haven't gotten any search engine traffic yet. I know it takes time for it to reach the search engines, but I think it's best to be prepared for when it does. So, could you check my site (http://www.flickster.tv) click on the TITLE below the image, check the permalink structure and tell me if I need to change anything? Thanks1
Forget the search engines - I'd like to know how you got 1200 visitors/day to your site in 2 or 3 days! You must have done some impressive marketing.
Well, I'm not a fan of huge SEO friendly URLs like that. They should be short and sweet and to the point, below is an example of something I would do.... Web Page: Web Page from a FAQ and the Q is "What is search engine optimization" URL: http://www.domain.com/search-engine-optimization.html Title: What is Search Engine Optimization? Meta Description: Answer to the popular question of what exactly is search engine optimization and how to utilizie it with your website.
Permalinks look great to me, it is perfect for SEO. No need to change anything else where that is concerned.
Thanks! Anyone else have any advice? I want to get everything right before I start link building and submitting to directories and search engines...
