Well I'm still really bad at 'estimating' how much I should ask for when it concerns my sites. I have an anime streaming site that gets 1500-2000 unique visitors a day and I am going to offer people the following things : 1) Video advertising , you give me a FLV and before a person can stream a video that video advertisment must be played. 2) Banner advertisment : Right below the main menu i'll have a banner slow 800 x 70 px , how much should I ask ? 3) Text links, again fairly high, only want to have 4-5 text links max. [Also same thing for a site that gets about 3000 unique visitors] Thanks for your advice, I really need it as I'm still new to 'advertising'
first, know how you want to charge it! is it per click? or per display? or package for a month? after you had decided, then only you can start to determine the price.
What is your current revenue? This could give n indication of the amount you may be able to charge for it.
Ah oops forgot to say ^^' , I want to charge per month. as for a 'current' revenue I can't really say as I haven't really started putting ads on this site.
Take your average monthly income you generate from the site & multiply by 10.. Thats a safe estimation... If the site generates NO INCOME, then it defeats the purpose of why people buy websites - (To make more money) - Thus having a Low $5.00 - $100.00 value. Revenue is normally the KEY focus of any website Buyer - How much can I make with the site right away after purchase & How much potential is there to make MORE! I wish you luck!

Ahh, ok.... Well.. when it comes to selling ad space people look at traffic, PR, Alexa, GeoTargeting, Etc.... are your ads set up on an Impression, click, or time management bases? Myself I charge around .50 cents per 1,000 impressions & $50.00 for a 30 day time management spot. I don't do click pricing..... (My site is around 7,000+ hits per day, with 340+ Uniques per day) I also mix a few Commission Junction PPC/PPS banners seeing that they have always paid me on time with no discrepancies.
