    Can someone suggest me a CC to link with paypal in India? The card should support for verification and work as a backup for paypal.

    All credit cards can be linked with paypal verification.

    Any real credit cards works for that such as HDFC silver credit card,HDFC gold credit card,ICICI credit card,AXIS bank credit,SBI credit card card etc..

    my main aim to upload fund to paypal not the verification process. Does it do this job ?

    Indian Paypal members cannot upload funds to Paypal account either by Indian credit card or bank account. Meaning you cannot store the funds in Paypal account using this method.

    Only funds that are recieved from sales, donations or sent from another Paypal member for whatever valid reason remain in your Paypal account.

    You can only link* creditcard and when a payment is made the amount is funded by the creditcard/s you have added to your Paypal account.

    * maybe using debit card also as some claim it is possible to verify using international debit card issued by Indian banks

    Yes exactly. You can supplement the shortfall of funds in your paypal by using a cc. For instance, if you have $9 in paypal and want to buy something worth $15 then if you have added a cc to your paypal you can charge your cc and make a spend of $6 to cover up the shortfall.

    Absolutely. Also make sure you get an International Credit card. Nowadays almost every card is International but verify before applying.

    I suggest not to enter a real CC to paypal for some good reasons.
    Its very risky...

    Hi rahul, if you want the credit card for verification purposes only, I will suggest you to buy a virtual credit card from some reputable company. This will help you in verifying your account legally and will be keeping your CC information safe.

    Otherwise, any CC can work with PayPal. I have used my HDFC credit card for verification.
