Can someone suggest a site / application that explains SEO terminology

Hello,

I want to get a grasp at present of all the SEO terminology so that when I start it (or get my good friend to carry on with it) I will know basically what`s going on.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Your can get a great overview from http://open-site.org/Computers/Internet/Promotion or go to Wiki for the SEO terminology. But it does not give examples like open-site
