Can someone recommend a hosting service to me?

What I am looking for is a host that provides

    • 600GB/mo + bandwidth
    • Windows Server - No linux
    • 99.95+% uptime, higher the better
    • Reliable SQL access with 5000+ requests/hour
    • CPanel recommended
    • Reliability is the most important factor
    • 24/7 help would be great
    • price is not a huge issue

    P.S. dreamhost is horrible.

Any control panel is fine, as long as it works well.

Are you absolutely sure you want to go with Windows?

Unless it's absolutely a necessity of the software you're looking to install, I'd strongly recommend against it. ToS is a lot higher.

If it's just that you're "used" to Windows, I recommend you get yourself trained on LAMP and switch to it now before you build up a large Windows infrastructure.

I like Hostgator. A lot. Maybe that'll work for you, or not.

I already have a linux server, I'm not looking for another one. Unless you can show me a linux server that runs ASP.NET scripts =P.

Checkout jodohost.com they offer both linux and windows hosting option.

BTW: your 5000 SQL queries seems to be a bit high. Do tell your prospective host about this before signing up.

Thanks for the advice, I'll check out jodohost.com. I'm probably moving the site with most of my SQL series to a dedicated server soon as it keeps growing.

I think I'll be going with GoDaddy since I really only need one site with ASP support right now, and I have some free hosting with them. Thanks for the help everyone.

Well, you haven't heard of Mono then. It's a project that is an alternative (read linux,free,open-source etc) implementation of the .NET Framework.
    monohosting.net
    cityhost.ca
These where the 2 host that I knew having a mod-mono package included, however they seem not to exist at the time being :( .
Anyway, native ASP.NET scripts running on Linux are alive and kicking ;) .

I recommend the ultimate marketing center. You have all the above plus unlimited help.

Kavi will reply to your emails like clockwork. I am also with host gator. But realy I don't know a hosting with the value of the ultimate marketing center.

Don't hesitate to ask me if you have any question.

Based on what you are looking for, I would suggest a dedicated server. Good luck in your search though.
