What do you consider to be high risk and what do you consider to be not expensive? There seem to be a lot of businesses out there offering merchant accounts for high risk businesses but I admit I can't see if they are inexpensive or not I'm just curious what would be considered high risk and what of in that context would be consider not expensive.
Do you mean high risk as in you are a risk (or unknown to the merchant) and you want service? I'm not sure I follow the question.
I suggest CCBilling, the best, but its very expensive. Other one is Authorize.net. Please check the second one.
After going at this for over a week, I was finally approved by Authorize.net. High risk is more about whether or not they believe you'll have high transactions and little charge back. A new site like mine was viewed as high risk (membership site).

Okay, it appears the OP found something. That's awesome! Generally though, and I think this makes sense to mention given that a lot of people often wonder how they can find a "high risk" merchant account... Visit the most disgusting, disturbing, and downright shocking porn site you can find. (Hahah, yeah, that sounds like "hard" work!) ;-) But the reason why it makes sense to do this is to then check to see how they're processing payments. Think about it. If a merchant account provider approved that site, with the mind-blowing content it has, then there's a good chance your site might qualify for a merchant account with them. Another strategy is to call various merchant account companies and explain that you anticipate your business will have a chargeback rate of 3% and a refund rate of approximately 30% -- see if they will quote you a price to get started with them and whether or not they can work with those numbers. If you give a really worst case scenario right up front and they're still talking to you, then there's a reasonable chance you can work something out. Alright, well, anyway... good luck to anyone who this might help!
