Can someone please tell me which is the corrent format:

I've just noticed a discrepancy between old and new versions of the same page after searching for a reason why I might have lost several positions in the Yahoo SERPS. Can someone tell me which is the correct format for the .index page:

The reason I ask is that there seems to be a duplication of content between the meta tags in the first example ... see the HTML source code (the site is in my sig.).

Please help if you can.

 

order of the meta tags isn't important

or are you asking about the meta name =" title" tag?

 

their isn't a meta title tag, remove it.

 

THere is no such thing as a META title tag. I used to pu them on all my sites until someone finally pointed that out to me.
