Hi Guys, First of all I wanna apologize for posting this in the wrong section. It was a genuine mistake. Apologies again. I've recently discovered this online money making using blogs thing. Now, i'm not new to the internet at all. It's my career. I'm a web and graphic designer by profession and have been babbling around websites ever since i had my 28k baud modem. I'm trying to build up a blog with some useful content first and foremost that would yield some profits and i'd like your honest criticisms and tips how i can improve it. Hello, the blog template look amazing and looks pretty fine to browse But let me give n small personal view about your content, you mentioned that you are a web designer from way too long, if you really want to success making money, you should blogging about things or fields you already experienced in life, i suggest you to make your content more specific about things you really a guru on it.. like web designing tips , design free templates, codes, web development .. there is so many stuff to blog about in your field .. people love to learn new things , specially when its free in the end its up to you ... just a suggestion.

And funny you should say that, I was actually thinking of creating a new blog solely targeted at graphics and web design but the only thing that tipped the scale to a no (so far) is that there is basically a saturated markets and it's nearly impossible to make a living off that since all the major big sites eat up all these little blogs. On the other hand the reason why I went on doing a personal journal (if you wanna call it that) is because simply put, i like to voice my opinions..uncensored. Actually was finding it pretty liberating. But thank you for your comments, I'll definitely give your suggestion more thought though As regards to adsense and traffic driving. I'm not an SEO guru by any stretch of the imagination, i've tried promoting my blog on twitter, facebook and some forums, tried digg too (without spamming any of them ofcourse). So far in 3 weeks i earned $10.51c (just hit the $10 mark today actually) and out of 932page impression i've had 25clicks. Do you think i can improve that by doing something to where i place my adsense or something ? And how would you guys suggest that i'd drive traffic. It's been a real painstaking task to drive traffic. Any suggestions welcome and sorry for the long post

Well i think if everyone think that there are a monster blogs eating all little blogs, no one will create anything new , i believe its hard yes, but not impossible, if you have a unique things to show it, you will successed, internet is a very big place, everyone has the chance or space to prove himself.

Well.. the ads inside the post for the one in the post header is little unclear for me , the gray color with white bg is little hard to the eyes. i suggest you to put the post below adsense unit up a little, for example put it above the social media buttons.

Well , installing your blog inside blogger is a default benefit !, blogger is a part from google, traffic in blogger will come automatically like magic for you, no need to do anything but write a good content. for the otherways you should stumble your posts by this website : stumbleupon ( google the name ) and register there, stumbleupon is a very common way to spread your pages on the internet. Give the opportunity for your visitors to share your post using all major bookmarking / social media sites by offer (Share this) button to them ( that will be better than your current social buttons ), again go to Google and search for "Share this", there is an option to put the button inside Blogger blogs. Comment and make back links search your favorite blogs and try to comment on their posts. try to comment on websites and blogs with high page rank, thus will increase your SEO for sure. For Digg ... well that's happen to me too, no one digg my posts, but i think we should comment and start to build a communication stream with others to make our goals. you know .. communication like any other social media website.
Sorry , I mean you should socialize there and build relations with digg users who share you the same interests, thus will help you to push your diggs. that's applied for every social media website. BTW, i forget to tell you some important ways to drive traffic and improve SEO, you have to submit your website on search engines , that should the very start step, I think Google will index you automatically because you are blogger users, submit your site to yahoo, bing and other popular search engines. Also submit your website to DMOZ and Yahoo Directory, and other Authority Directories, that will help you a lot.

Thanks for your feedback guys. what would you suggest that i put on the sidebar ? I'm sort of a clutter-freak to be quite honest. Like i'm not gonna put something for the sake of filling space, if its not needed for the user, its gone. (I was actually thinking of even removing the amazon thing since no one has ever clicked it. Hell, even myself are blind to it and I'm the one who put it there hehe)
